Why Norway should be your yes-way holiday destination

While Europe has an epic history with scenic beauty, there is no country like Norway in the world to compete with its beautiful views. The Scandinavian country is the most beautiful and peaceful country in the world having a vibrant cultural life. Have you been to Norway? If not then you must add the country in your bucket list as it is an irresistibly stunning country in the world with its breathtaking natural beauty.

Although the country is a rare beauty with the most dramatic and scenic waterfalls, steep sided clear fjords, spectacular mountains & glaciers, and the natural dancing of light in the sky (aurora borealis), it is geographically too big to explore. However, you can land into any state of Norway and look at those colorful tiny houses or the picturesque view of the place. You do not have to go to a specific place to enjoy the natural beauty of the country, you can just walk on the roads of any city and it will be panoramic. But if you have the budget and days off your work, make the Atlantic road trip plan from Oslo to Bergen to not miss the local adventures of Norway.

The magic of nature
Have you heard of the aurora borealis before? The northern lights or the aurora borealis is actually the collision of electric participles that enter the earth from the sun. The auroral display appears in shades of red, green, blue, and violet in the form of patches scattering the clouds of lights in the sky. Tromso or Bodo are the best cities to witness the northern lights of the Norway. Isn’t the colorful lights in the sky at 5pm unreal to you? Also there are days when the sun doesn’t rise at all, and the sky is dark 24 hours!

Clear fjords
Fjords are long narrow sea paths with steep lands on three sides, created by glaciers. You can take a ride in a fjord and find yourself in the midst of the sea enclosed by the majestic mountains and snow-capped glaciers. Bergen is the capital of fjords, with the streets full of wooden, fairy tale houses, and more than seven mountains in the backdrop. However, you can also land to Alesund, the cultural centre of the region for clear and sharp fjords.

Ski or hike
Norway is one of the largest ski destination in the world as winter lasts from September to June in the country. One can do the world class hiking, cycling, white-water rafting, dog-sledding and snow-mobilising activities in the Nature’s paradise, apart from just skiing in the magnificent glaciers. Although the winter season is the primary season of the country, the Norwegian people traditionally divided the year in eight seasons. Stavanger is the place to hike in the country!

Norway is considered to be the happiest country in the world, and why wouldn’t it be? Anybody’s day will light up with these beautiful scenic views. It is a living folk museum-open for anyone to explore.
